A Call To Help
 

The tornadoes in the South have been devastating to say the least. Zerita Hudson’s home town of Raleigh was recently hit by a tornado, but nothing has compared to the twice hit devastated town of Geiger, Alabama.

Geiger, a small rural town of 1 square mile in Sumter County, Alabama has a census of 170 with a median household income on $18,606. Of the 170 residents of Geiger, nearly half of them are children. 73.5% of the residents are African Americans, 23.5% are Caucasian and 2.9% are Hispanic . With all the chaos, disorder and ruble in Alabama, you can only imagine that Geiger may get lost in the rebuild efforts.

In an answer to the call to help from one of HealthWrite’s partners, TWG Training Solution, HealthWrite is committed to doing all we can to assist TWG Training Solutions help the people of Geiger, Al.

TWG solutions through the efforts of William B Winchester, CEO and colleagues will work with the local residents to physically rebuild homes in Geiger, Al. TWG is currently working with local business to in an effort to solicit donation of supplies, and equipment for the rebuild projects

HealthWrite Training Academy’s efforts will be to assist the children by donating books, clothing, diapers, and formula to the children whose lives have been devastated by this environmental disaster.
